The SURPASS hiT 70xx series is a complete multi-service provisioning platform representing the leading Multi-Service Optical Networks equipment available on the market. It is the key component in the evolution from today’s infrastructure to a converged minimum-cost transmission network.
IP-optimized transport networks can be built utilizing SURPASS, with data, Ethernet and SAN functions being added to the classic transport features. The main applications in network extensions are the integrated aggregation and transmission of broadband access as well as third generation mobile traffic.
