The radio transmission system used for HiPath Cordless Enterprise is based on the DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) ETSI standard, which is the worldwide standard for cordless communication.
DECT has gained in popularity since the standardization of transmission systems was followed by the standardization of radio switching functions under the name GAP (Generic Access Profile). Based on GAP, it allows the use of handsets with cordless systems from different manufacturers.
