Installation variants

 

 

Serviceability of a videowall as well as the space taken by it in a room depends on its design. Thus, traditionally the access to inner elements of the cubes was provided from the back panel, due to this it was inevitably necessary to leave the technological space (a pass, approximately 80 cm wide) behind the videowall. Meanwhile, the majority of the leading manufacturers have already added to their product lines the models with the frontal access to the components being serviced. This is allowed to install such video cubes in a room right against the wall in order to save the working space. Eyevis EC video cubes can be supplied with the rail mountings making it possible to install the video wall at the distance of up to 10 cm from the wall. At the present time there are developed 50" diagonal video cube models with the possibility of frontal servicing, other models are under development.

Video cube installation racks consist of a solid steel construction and can be adjusted for installation on uneven floor. The videowall can be installed on rails as well, in that way the video cubes can be moved and the equipment can be serviced easier.
