a. From a PC
High level of visualization is one of the advantages of PC-based teleconference management. In this case teleconference management can be organized via touchscreen.
With a PC connected to LAN (OS Windows) you can:
- Gather numerous subscribers in a conference regardless of their location (local, regional, long-distance, international and mobile subscribers).
- Program necessary conferences in advance.
- Gather a conference by pushing a single button.
- Manage any subscriber state (connect, disconnect, simplex, duplex, isolation).
- Realize notification and voting features.
- Track visually the status of any subscriber: (simplex, duplex, isolation, private talk, “ask permission to speak”, connection break, entry by “meet me”, etc.)
- Individual adjustment of volume. Noise reduction.
- Hold a conference in selector mode.
- Automatically gather a conference in the preset time (one time, daily, weekly, monthly).
- Keep teleconference system operation log.
- Add any subscriber to the existing conference.

b. From a telephone
Sometimes it can be more convenient to manage teleconferences from a system telephone set, i.e. from any digital telephone of the corresponding dial switch. In this case most of the mentioned above features will be available though they are realized in other ways. In particular it is advisable that every subscriber is programmed on a separate button on the extension console. It is also important to program buttons for the following features: “connect”, “disconnect”, “simplex”, “duplex”, “isolation”, “gather”, etc.

All the commands are programmed on the telephone, the subscribers numbers are programmed on the console.
After such a simple shift keying you can:
- Gather any of the 10 previously programmed conferences by pushing only one button.
- Gather any conference (not programmed in advance) by pushing buttons “connect” + “subscriber 1” + “subscriber 2” + etc.
- Manage the subscribers’ status: “simplex” + “subscriber”; “duplex” + “subscriber”, etc.
- Notification (up to 120 subscribers).
- Add new participants to the existing conference: “connect” + “subscriber”.
