Automatic system of optical inspection and control of assembled printed circuit boards (AOI) OptiCon SpeedLine from GOPEL electronic
ÀOI system is used for optical control of assembled printed circuit boards with the help of cameras.
AOI helps to reduce costs of manual visual control and electrical testing. At the same time the following advantages become evident: · 100% control.
· Objective comparison of the product’s quality with the set requirements.
· Monitoring the quality of the process.
· Documentation in the form of static data in accordance with the results of experiments and defects.
· Absence of human factor.
Cameras:
The main camera is a 4-mega pixel camera with special telecentric lens which allows the control zone of 27 mm õ 21 mm or 42 mm õ 42 mm, with resolution — 21 mm.
Additional 4-mega pixel camera is used for more precise detection of inaccuracies in OptiCon systems for 3-D dimensions.
Besides main and additional cameras there’s a system of laser height measurement.
Illumination concept:
Flexible illumination concept is a part of standard equipment of OptiCon autonomous and linear systems with 4-mega pixel camera. It is based on two illumination modules:
· Multicolored Top Illumination provides for uniform illumination of control zone as well as high contrast of colored signs (for example polarity signs).
· Flexible Quattro Illumination with the possibility to choose the direction of illumination guarantees prevention of interference effects as a result of solder, flux, and high-contrast recognition of engraved LASER marking.
Lenses:
Telecentric lenses of cameras guarantee the perfect image of components and soldering connections independent of their position on the field-of-view or their height.
