On December 4th a conference of Belinfocom association, one of the founders of which is Svjazinformservice, took place in the National Library. The topical issues of restructuring and creation of conditions for investments and competition in the sphere of telecommunication services were discussed at the conference.

Representatives of Telecommunication and Information Ministry, Ministry of Economy, Standing Committee of the House of Representatives of National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus shared their experience and plans.

Statement of Russian colleagues (representatives of joint stock company “Rostelecom” participated in the forum) aroused special interest. The experts commented on working conditions on the market taking into account new legislative acts aimed at demonopolization and development of competition in the sector.

Participants of the forum showed interest to preparation of a new edition of law on telecommunications, the documents, which will define the general line of the sector development for the next years.
